FAMILY FUN DAY - CHARITY DUCK RACE & LIVE MUSIC

Following the success of last years event, we’re excited to confirm plans are underway for Holcombe Farmshop Family Fun Day 2026!
The fun day itself will be held in the field above our overflow carpark, there will be a BBQ, Bar, Stalls, Bouncy Castle, Donkey Rides, Face Painting, Local Charity pop ups and more...

The event is FREE with no booking required and will run 12-4pm with live music to follow at The Farmshop itself later on!

Local businesses: if you’d like to get involved with a stall on the day, we’d love to hear from you.
Pitch fee is £15 per stall.

T’s & C’s: pitch fee is payable upfront and is non-refundable.

CHARITY DUCK RACE

IT’S BACK FOR 2026!

The ever popular CHARITY DUCK RACE

Hosted by the Holcombe playing field committee

Held at Holcombe Farmshop

Along side the Family fun day (Saturday 23rd May).

x3 races (the first at 3pm)

How it works:

Ducks are £1 and can be purchased on site now!

All proceeds go to the Holcombe playing field.

All ducks are released across the road from the Farmshop and make their way down stream under the bridge and across the finish line (which is alongside the farmshop decking)

Get your duck, grab a drink on the day and find a spot to cheer it on!

All ducks are caught in a net at the end and collected up for next year. No waste, no littering, no harming of ducks!

LIVE MUSIC

The fun doesn’t stop at 4pm! When the Family Fun day is over and all of the ducks have been released, we have more fun with live music at at The Farmshop from 7pm with the fantastic Open Road!

A bit about the band:

Open Road are a 5 piece covers band playing pubs, clubs and festivals in the locality of Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire.

The music they play has something for everyone, from rock to indie, from the Kinks, through T Rex to the Stereophonics and Radiohead.

Expect high energy and songs to keep you dancing!

MONTHLY QUIZ NIGHT

QUIZ HAS MOVED TO THURSDAYS!

Our monthly quiz has been moved to the first Thursday of every month.

£2 per person entry with maximum teams of 6.

Food is served until 8pm

Quiz starting at 8pm.
